Hello foram

I am new to pcp air guns and on the verge of getting the AGT Vixan long .22,

I've seen on YouTube the shroud is easily marked? Is the carbon fibre replacement better and not as easy to scratch, also does it make a difference in weight and sound of the gun. Thanks John
