Hi thank you for the reply will drop off the Uzi tomorrow Wednesday thank you regards bob
We do offer repair services for such issues at Vector Air.
Based on similar repair jobs, the cost would likely be in the range of £40-£60. However, please note that our current wait time for service is around 5-8 weeks. Therefore, it would be best to drop off your Uzi with us as soon as possible so we can add it to the repair queue.
Regarding warranty coverage, it's worth checking with the shop where you purchased the Uzi. Depending on the age of the product and the specific terms of the warranty, you may be eligible for coverage. However, if the seal damage is due to overtightening or leaving CO2 inserted, it's unlikely to be covered under warranty.
Here are some tips for CO2 care and maintenance to prevent future issues:
Storage: Never store your gun with a CO2 capsule installed, as this can compress the internal seals and lead to rapid leaking.
Temperature: CO2 is sensitive to temperature changes, and so is the seal so avoid storing your gun in hot areas or using it in cold environments to prevent leakage.
Silicon Oil: Before inserting a CO2 capsule (every 5 capsules or before storage), apply a drop of silicon oil to the top of the capsule. This lubricates and protects the piercing nozzle and accompanying seal, preventing corrosion and cracking.
CO2 Selection: Use CO2 with lubricants. We recommend UMAREX branded CO2 for optimal performance and longevity of your gun.
