Vector Air – Terms & Conditions
Effective from: 01/01/2026

1. General
By placing an order with Vector Air, you confirm that you are over 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These may be updated without prior notice; we recommend reviewing them before each purchase.

2. Age-Restricted Products
We comply with UK law regarding the sale of age-restricted goods. You must be 18+ to purchase items such as airguns, knives, and related accessories. Proof of age is required via a valid photo ID (e.g., passport or driving licence). Failure to provide this within 5 working days will result in the cancellation of your order. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee.

3. Website Pricing vs In-Store
Prices displayed online are specific to the website and may not reflect in-store prices. This is particularly relevant during sales, which are typically online-only. In-store purchases will not automatically honour online prices. Customers wishing to secure online sale prices should use Click & Collect.

4. Orders, Payment & Contract
Orders are accepted only once full payment is received. A legally binding contract exists at this point. We reserve the right to decline any order. Full payment is required for special orders.

5. Special Orders
Specially ordered items require full upfront payment. If cancelled, only a partial refund may be issued. Special orders are not eligible for full returns under standard distance selling terms.

6. Receipt of Goods
Customers must inspect goods upon receipt. Any visible damage, missing items, or discrepancies must be reported within 3 calendar days. Claims made after this period may be dismissed, as the customer bears the responsibility to prove the item was damaged or missing at delivery. For bulk orders (e.g., pellets), proof of exact damage may be required. Partial refunds or return requests will be considered at our discretion.

7. Returns & Exchanges
You have 14 calendar days from receipt to request a return or exchange.

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging.

  • Returns for items damaged or unpackaged may incur reduced refunds. Loyalty points may be issued instead of full refunds for non-pristine returns.

  • Return postage is the customer’s responsibility. Outbound shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Exchanges: customer covers return shipping and replacement postage. Any price difference must be paid.

  • Returns due to incorrectly sent or damaged items will be facilitated with a printed returns label; if printing is not possible, the customer may need to cover shipping upfront, reimbursed up to £8.

8. Warranty
All warranty claims must be returned for inspection. Items found to have faults caused by user error, misuse, or modifications are not covered, in line with UK law.

  • Genuine manufacturing faults: we cover return postage up to the original shipping cost.

  • Customer is responsible for any damages or losses incurred during transport, especially if items are incorrectly packaged.

9. Delivery of VCRA-Restricted Goods
Items such as airguns, silencers, and pressure-bearing components are VCRA-restricted and require face-to-face sale. Options:

  • In-House Courier: limited area, fixed fee (non-refundable), up to 4 weeks delivery. See [Shipping Info] for details.

  • RFD Transfer: goods may be sent to a local Registered Firearms Dealer at your arrangement. RFD fees and policies are not our responsibility.

10. Trade & Business Customers
Purchases made under a business name remain consumer retail sales unless using our dedicated trade portal at OnTargetDistribution.net. Trade accounts require approval; login details grant access to trade-only products and pricing. Not all retail items are available via trade.

11. Product Availability & Stock Errors
While stock levels are updated regularly, mistakes can occur. If part of your order is unavailable, it may be refunded or shipped separately. Entire orders may be cancelled if unfulfillable.

12. Risk & Ownership
Ownership passes on full payment. Risk passes upon delivery.

13. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from product use or misuse. Products should always be used as intended and in compliance with the law.

14. Cancelling an Order
Orders may be cancelled up to 14 days from delivery. Written notice is required. Returns must be securely packaged. Damaged or used items may incur deductions. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

15. Combining Postage & Click & Collect
Multiple orders may be combined to save on shipping. When using Click & Collect, state the order numbers to combine in your order notes. Failure to include order numbers may result in orders being processed separately, and any shipping charges paid will not be refunded.

16. Compliance with UK Legal Power Limits
Items restricted by UK law (16 Joules for rifles, 8 Joules for pistols) are tested before dispatch using certified equipment. These limits represent maximum legal power, not target performance.

  • Products that test below these limits are not faulty, and this does not constitute a warranty claim.

  • Responsibility to operate items within legal limits lies with the customer.

  • Claims regarding overpowered items will only be considered if the item exceeds legal limits as verified on our certified testing equipment. Testing using uncertified devices by the end user does not constitute grounds for a warranty claim.

  • Items may be fitted with anti-tampering to protect the end user, retailer and manufacturer from false warranty claims and legal claims.
