AGT VIXEN 2 Carbine PCP Air Rifle

Price

£1,580.00

AGT VIXEN 2 Carbine PCP Air Rifle – Lightweight, CZ-Made, Reviewer-Inspired Precision

The AGT VIXEN 2 Carbine is the compact sequel to one of Airgun Technology’s most successful rifles—developed in collaboration with our network of reviewers, shooters, testers, and customers. The result? A lightweight PCP airgun built not just for the modern shooter, but by them.

This Carbine version is our choice, not as retailers, but as shooters. The compact and lightweight nature of the VIXEN 2 lends itself to being best in this Carbine variant. Plus, at this length it fits in more cases with the silencer and doesn't make it look like you're overcompensating for something. All of this whilst being the same accuracy and power as the longer variant. You make your own choice, but as shooters, we have definitely chosen this one.

Where traditional manufacturers still think they know best, AGT has taken a different route—listening to real-world feedback to modernise the VIXEN into something genuinely shooter-focused. From the CZ-made barrel to the ARCA handguard and modular stock, this is a rifle that’s been properly thought through.

The ARCA handguard with M-LOK slots marks a big step forward—not just in design but in thinking. ARCA brings standardisation to accessory mounting, letting you clamp this rifle onto a camera tripod or one of the new breed of shooting tripods without relying on a bog-standard friction clamp.

The M-LOK system keeps things smooth and lightweight when not in use, or allows you to bolt on exactly what you need: Picatinny rails, lasers, rangefinders, bipods—you name it.

The shroud has been redesigned to address one of the VIXEN’s biggest criticisms: sound. Where previous owners had to either seek out a third-party shroud (often at painful prices) or use workaround adapters, the VIXEN 2 now comes ready with a threaded muzzle—so you can fit a silencer of your choosing, including AGT’s own VIXEN Liska Silencer.

At the rear, the bottle stock has been replaced with a moulded design that feels solid and looks like it belongs—no more neoprene sleeves or improvised swaps. It’s just better.

Key Features:

  • Built in collaboration with reviewers, testers & AGT's real-world customers

  • CZ-Made Barrel – Precision from the factory floor

  • ARCA Handguard with M-LOK – Modern modularity meets smooth ergonomics

  • Threaded Shroud – Ready for silencers.

  • Moulded Bottle Stock – Purpose-built.

  • Extended Picatinny Rails – Plenty of room for scopes, thermals & more

Technical Specifications:

  • Calibers: 4.5mm (.177) / 5.5mm (.22) / 6.35mm (.25)

Please note:

  • We do not recommend .25 calibre air guns in sub 16 Joules, by purchasing these, you do so at your own risk and have no guarantee of accuracy.
  • The guns are fitted with tamper notifiers, just in case you want to "work on it yourself", we will know if it is you that's messed them up and won't warranty ham-fisted attempts to "service it"

Important Notice for the Purchase and Delivery of Airguns, Pressure Components of Airguns, and Moderators

Effective Compliance with the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (VCRA): Sections 31 and 32

Under the provisions of Sections 31 and 32 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, which were enacted through "The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (Commencement No 3) Order 2007: firearms measures," specific regulations now apply to air weapons, their Pressure-Bearing component parts, and certain accessories.

Key Points to Note:

Restricted Items:

  • Airguns: All airguns are classified as restricted items.
  • Pressure-Bearing Parts of Airguns: This includes barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
  • Functional Moderators (Silencers/Suppressors): Moderators that reduce the sound of discharge are also classified as restricted items.

Definition and Registration:

  • Component Parts: While the VCRA does not explicitly define "component parts," the Home Office interprets this to include pressure-bearing parts such as barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
  • Accessories: Only moderators (silencers) require registration by dealers.

Legal Requirements for Transfer:

  • In-Person Transfer: It is an offence under the VCRA to transfer these restricted items through standard postal systems or to the end customer directly without the presence of both the buyer and either the seller or a representative of the seller.
  • Representatives of the Seller: This can be:
  1. An employee of the seller who is a registered firearms dealer (RFD).
  2. Another RFD authorized by the seller.
  3. An employee of the authorized RFD.

Collection and Delivery Options:

  • Collection from Store: Customers are encouraged to collect their restricted items directly from the store where purchased.
  • Transfer to Another RFD: Items can be transferred to a local RFD for collection, though the receiving RFD may charge a fee for this service.
  • Home Delivery: We offer home delivery through our in-house team to some areas of the UK. However, please note that this service has location restrictions and incurs higher costs due to the need for dedicated transport, making it more expensive than a standard RFD transfer.

    Hi David,

Thanks for your review and apologies again for the mix-up with the RFD. That’s exactly why we always suggest collecting in-store when possible — it avoids RFD errors — though you could also opt for our local delivery service if your lucky enough to be in the delivery area.

If you haven’t already, please drop us an email regarding the incorrect Calibre magazine. That way, we can sort it out properly. Reviews aren’t monitored in the same way as emails, so reaching out directly will get things resolved faster in future.
