Vector Air – Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and responsibilities when returning or exchanging items, in line with UK law.

1. Standard Returns

Under UK distance selling regulations, most new, unused items can be returned within 14 calendar days of receipt.

To qualify for a return:

• Items must be unused and in their original packaging

• All accessories, manuals, and tags must be included

• Notification of your intention to return must be submitted in writing within 14 days of receipt

Return process:

• Once approved, customers are responsible for return postage; tracked shipping is recommended

• Returns must be securely packaged and received in a resaleable condition

• Outbound shipping fees are non-refundable

Important: Any loss or damage discovered after 3 days of receipt may be treated as a warranty claim rather than a standard return. Proof of damage or discrepancy is required for late claims.

2. Exchanges

If you want a different item:

• You cover return postage for the original item

• You pay shipping for the replacement item

• Any price difference must be settled before dispatch

3. Testing & Performance Verification

• All items should be tested within 3 days of receipt.

• Performance issues must be verified using the supplied or certified equipment.

• Claims based on testing using non-certified or personal devices will not be accepted.

• Items performing below UK legal power limits (16 Joules for rifles, 8 Joules for pistols) are not faulty and this does not constitute a warranty claim. These limits are maximum legal thresholds, not targets.

4. Items Not Eligible for Standard Returns

• FAC-Rated Airguns / Firearms: Non-returnable due to legal restrictions

• Pre-Owned / Second-Hand Items: Non-returnable, including ex-demo, clearance, or previously owned guns/accessories

• Special / Custom Orders: Only partial refunds may apply, depending on resale viability

• Opened Consumables & Used Accessories: Pellets, CO₂, lubricants, installed optics, or tools are excluded

5. Faulty Items & Warranty Claims

• Report suspected faults within 7 days of receipt

• Items must be returned for inspection

• Genuine manufacturing faults will be repaired, replaced, or refunded, with return shipping reimbursed up to the original delivery cost

• Items damaged, misused, modified, or found to be user error will not be covered; they will be returned at the customer’s expense

• Damaged returns due to poor packaging during shipment are the responsibility of the customer

6. RFD Transfer Items

For VCRA-restricted items delivered via a Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD):

• We are not responsible for RFD fees, policies, or charges

• RFD transfer fees are non-refundable, even if the item is later returned under warranty

7. How to Start a Return

1. Contact us at info@vector-air.co.uk with:

   • Name and order number

   • Item(s) to return

   • Reason for return

2. Wait for confirmation and return instructions

3. Package the item securely and return it within 7 days

​

8. Deductions & Condition of Returns

Refunds may be reduced if:

• Items arrive damaged due to poor packaging

• Items show signs of use or installation

• Original packaging is missing or heavily marked

If a return is rejected, the item will be returned to the customer.
