Helle Berget Denim Folding Drop Point Lock Knife (12C27)

The Helle Berget Denim is the first standard Helle model to feature Micarta handle scales, combining the company's traditional Scandinavian blade design with a durable, low-maintenance handle material.
Based around the smallest platform in Helle's folding knife range, the Berget is compact enough for everyday carry while still feeling substantial in the hand. The 55mm drop point blade is made from 12C27 stainless steel and uses Helle's traditional Scandi grind.
Small Knife, Solid Construction
The 2.7mm thick blade and sturdy back-lock mechanism give the Berget a surprisingly substantial feel when open. Once locked, it has much of the solid, straightforward character you'd normally associate with a fixed blade, despite its compact folding construction.
A nail nick provides a simple way to open the blade, keeping the design clean and uncomplicated.
The slim, slightly curved handle is designed to sit comfortably in the hand, with its shape inspired by Heileberget, the flat mountain range overlooking Helle's home fjord of Dalsfjorden.
Micarta Handle Scales
The Berget is notable for its Micarta handle scales, giving it a different character from Helle's more traditional curly birch-handled knives.
Micarta is durable, comfortable in the hand and relatively easy to maintain. The scales are secured with screws and can be removed when required for cleaning and maintenance.
The Denim finish gives the knife a distinctive appearance while retaining the understated Scandinavian styling Helle is known for.
