Helle Kletten Folding Drop Point Lock Knife (H3LS)

Tiny by Helle standards, but still very much a proper Helle knife.
 
The Helle Kletten is the smallest folding knife Helle has produced to date, packing the company's traditional Scandinavian design into a compact pocket-friendly format. Its small size makes it particularly easy to carry, while the robust construction and back-lock mechanism give it a reassuringly solid feel in the hand.
 
The 55mm drop point blade uses Helle's triple-laminated stainless steel and a traditional Scandi grind, providing the familiar cutting geometry associated with Helle's fixed-blade knives in a much smaller folding format.
 
Compact and Practical
The Kletten is designed around a three-finger grip for medium-sized hands, with a shaped handle that incorporates a small finger guard to help keep the hand positioned securely behind the blade.
At just 84g, it is light enough to disappear into a pocket or pack until you actually need it.
The back-lock mechanism provides a straightforward locking system, while the folding construction keeps the blade safely contained when the knife is being carried.
 
Curly Birch Handles
Like many Helle knives, the Kletten uses curly birch handle scales, and this is where each knife gets a little bit of personality.
 
The natural grain and colour of curly birch varies from piece to piece, meaning no two handles will look exactly the same. Basically, nature refuses to manufacture in batches.
 
The name Kletten comes from a small, rugged hill near the Helle factory overlooking the village of Holmedal.
