Scope Mount Selection & Measurement Guide
A high-end scope is useless without rock-solid mounts. When selecting mounts for your rifle, pay close attention to 3 key dimensions:
-
Rail Type: Standard airguns traditionally use 9-11mm Dovetail rails, whereas modern tactical airguns and airsoft guns feature 20mm Picatinny / Weaver rails.
*Important Compatibility Note: For guns fitted with Dovetail rails, please ensure you check the specific compatibility disclaimer listed on all Dovetail-mounted products prior to purchase to guarantee a secure fit.*
-
Tube Diameter: Match your scope's main tube body correctly:
-
1-Inch (25.4mm): The traditional standard for entry-level and lightweight scopes.
-
30mm: The modern industry standard offering expanded elevation adjustment range.
-
34mm: Premium high-end optic tubes designed for maximum light transmission and extreme long-range adjustment.
-
-
Mount Height & Saddle Clearance: Choose Low, Medium, or High rings to clear your scope's objective bell and magazine. Note: Many of our scope mounts are measured specifically in saddle clearance—the exact distance from the top of the rail to the bottom of the scope tube.
Specialised Mounts & Accessory Kits
Beyond standard rings, this section includes specialised DNT Optics night vision mounts and scope ring accessory kits—allowing you to attach micro red dots, bubble levels, or auxiliary Picatinny rails directly onto your scope mount setup.
