Vector Air & NEO Airguns & Airsoft: Bringing Affordable Airgun Delivery To London

For years, one of the biggest frustrations for airgun and airsoft buyers in London has been the simple fact that restricted items can't just be dropped through the post like any other online purchase.

RFD transfers work perfectly well, but they often add cost, require additional collection fees, and can sometimes leave customers travelling across London just to pick up a purchase.

So we're trying something a little different.

We're pleased to announce a new partnership with NEO Airguns & Airsoft in London, designed to make purchasing restricted items from Vector Air easier, more affordable, and potentially even deliverable to your front door.

Why NEO?

Firstly, because they share a philosophy we happen to agree with.

Like Vector Air, NEO do not charge customers an RFD collection fee when receiving transferred items.

Unfortunately, that isn't always the case elsewhere.

Secondly, they've built something rather unique within the London market.

NEO offer a local delivery service for restricted items within the M25, allowing customers to arrange delivery directly with them once the transfer has been completed.

Apparently, much of this is being done by bicycle.

Which sounds completely ridiculous until you remember it means no congestion charge, no parking nightmares, and probably a faster journey than most London traffic.

Fair play to them.

How This Differs From A Normal RFD Transfer

Traditionally, if you wanted a restricted item delivered to an RFD in London, we would ship your order directly to them.

That works well, but it comes with the usual shipping costs associated with an individual transfer.

Our new NEO transfer option works differently.

Rather than sending every order individually, we will build a transfer shipment containing multiple customer orders destined for NEO.

By grouping transfers together, we can reduce the cost for customers.

The trade-off is speed.

This service is designed to prioritise lower cost rather than immediate delivery.

The Trial Transfer Service

Customers will now see the following delivery option at checkout:

Transfer to NEO Airguns & Airsoft Store For Collection or Home Delivery (Customer Organised with NEO)

Selecting this option places your order into the next scheduled NEO transfer.

Our aim is to run these transfers approximately every 3 weeks.

As this is a trial service, we're advising customers to allow up to 4 weeks in the worst-case scenario, although we hope transfers will generally move much quicker than that.

Once your order arrives at NEO, you can either:

• Collect directly from their central London location

• Arrange home delivery with NEO within the M25 delivery area

London Home Delivery

This is where things get particularly interesting.

Once your order has arrived at NEO, they can arrange delivery directly to your address within the M25.

At the time of writing, NEO's local delivery charge is just £20.

That means London customers now have access to something that has historically been very difficult to achieve for restricted airgun and airsoft products:

• A practical home delivery solution.

• No long drives.

• No train journeys carrying rifle cases.

• No trying to explain to your taxi driver why you're carrying what appears to be military hardware.

Just arrange delivery with NEO and let them handle the final leg.

Need It Faster?

Not everyone wants to wait for the next transfer batch.

If speed is more important than cost, there is another option.

Simply select:

Delivery to your Local RFD for VCRA Items

Then enter the following shipping address:

Using this route allows us to dispatch your order directly to NEO rather than waiting for the next transfer run.

In most cases this can have your order with them in around 2 working days.

Please note that this option incurs the standard individual RFD shipping costs and does not include NEO's home delivery service fee.

Any local delivery arrangements will still need to be organised directly with NEO.

What Happens Next?

Regardless of which option you choose, once your order arrives at NEO we will provide them with the contact details associated with your order.

NEO will then contact you directly to:

• Arrange collection if required

• Organise home delivery if requested

• Collect payment for any NEO delivery services

A New Option For London Customers

This is very much a trial programme, but it's one we're excited about.

London has always presented unique challenges for restricted item sales, and NEO's willingness to offer collection without additional transfer fees alongside their innovative local delivery service makes them an ideal partner for this project.

If successful, this partnership will give London customers a simpler, more affordable route to purchasing restricted airguns and airsoft products from Vector Air.
