3 Legged Thing The Modfather Slotted Airgun Moderator
The 3 Legged Thing Modfather is a premium airgun moderator designed for shooters who want exceptional sound suppression without adding excessive length to their rifle. By combining a large internal volume with studio-grade acoustic foam and a modular cosmetic design, The Modfather delivers serious performance in a compact package.
Despite measuring just 120mm in length, its generous 45mm diameter provides an impressive 92ml internal capacity. This allows the moderator to manage a large volume of expanding air while maintaining good balance on the rifle, making it well suited to both hunting and target shooting.
Studio-Grade Acoustic Foam: Inside The Modfather is high-density acoustic foam similar to the material used in professional recording studios. With a density of 24kg/m³, it helps absorb and diffuse muzzle blast to soften the report rather than simply redirecting it. Over time, if lead residue builds up, the foam can be removed and washed to help restore performance.
Large Internal Volume: The 92ml internal capacity allows the moderator to control expanding air efficiently while keeping the overall length surprisingly compact.
Compact High-Performance Design: At only 120mm long, The Modfather offers substantial sound suppression without creating an overly long rifle, making it particularly attractive for compact PCPs and hunting rifles.
Magnesium Alloy Construction: Manufactured from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, the body offers an excellent balance of strength and weight while maintaining a premium engineered finish.
Customisable Appearance: The Modfather is designed around a modular cosmetic system with interchangeable exoskeleton designs and coloured inner tubes. Every version shares the same internal construction and acoustic performance, allowing shooters to choose the appearance that best suits their rifle without affecting function.

Who is The Modfather for?
The Modfather is aimed at shooters who want premium sound suppression in a compact package without compromising the look of their rifle. Its large internal volume and acoustic foam make it an excellent choice for pest control and range shooting, while the modular styling allows it to complement everything from traditional sporting rifles to modern tactical PCPs. It's equally at home reducing muzzle report as it is becoming part of the rifle's overall aesthetic.
