EPIC VISION 1913 Picatinny Tactical Stock Adapter

Turn your EPIC VISION into a more modular platform with the EPIC VISION 1913 Picatinny Tactical Stock Adapter.

This adapter replaces the standard buffer tube arrangement with a 1913 Picatinny stock interface, allowing the VISION to accept a wide range of compatible folding and fixed Picatinny-mounted stocks from the airsoft and firearms accessory market.

The result is a much more adaptable VISION platform, giving you greater freedom to configure the rifle around your preferred stock, shooting position and overall setup.

Modular Stock Compatibility

The 1913 Picatinny interface opens up a much wider range of stock options than the original buffer tube system. Compatible folding stocks can also provide a more compact configuration for storage and transport.

Whether you're looking to change the ergonomics, reduce the overall footprint or simply want more options when configuring your VISION, this adapter provides the interface to do it.

  • Please note: This is an unofficial installation guide intended to assist competent users. If you are unsure about carrying out the work yourself, we recommend consulting a competent gunsmith.

    1. Remove the existing buffer tube stock. A castle nut wrench is required to loosen the locking castle nut before unscrewing the buffer tube from the rifle.
    2. Remove the two fasteners from the rear Buffer Tube Stock Adapter (BTSA). One is a standard machine screw and the other is a large threaded cylinder. Keep the threaded cylinder, as it will be reused. The standard machine screw is no longer required.
    3. Remove the factory stock adapter and set it aside.
    4. Reinstall the large threaded cylinder into the threaded hole now visible at the rear of the action.
    5. Using the flat/thin machine screw supplied with the adapter kit, thread it into the lower mounting hole but do not fully tighten it. If your rifle has a cover over the hammer spring adjuster, remove this before proceeding.
    6. Position the adapter plate over the partially tightened lower screw so it locates correctly. Tighten the lower screw using the access slot underneath the adapter. A ball-end hex key makes this considerably easier.
    7. Install the remaining machine screw through the upper mounting hole into the threaded cylinder installed earlier and tighten securely.
    8. The adapter is now installed.

    Preparing the Tactical Stock

If your Tactical Stock includes the factory folding mechanism, it can be installed; however, the folding function will no longer lock closed correctly in this application. To avoid damage, remove the locking pin from the stock before use.

For the most rigid setup, we recommend removing the folding mechanism completely:

    1. Remove the two machine screws from the top of the stock.
    2. Remove the large countersunk screw located inside the folding hinge.
    3. Separate the folding bracket from the stock body.

    Fitting the Tactical Stock

    1. Position the stock onto the adapter.
    2. Install the two upper fixing screws first.
    3. Fit the larger retaining screw through the rear of the stock.
    4. Tighten all fasteners evenly to a minimum of 2Nm to reduce the chance of screws loosening during use.
