Gunpany Barrel Cleaning Rod Set for .177 and .22 calibre airguns
It is sometimes a good measure to clean your barrel if the gun is new to remove oils from manufacturing.
Unlike powder burners, you do not need to clean your barrel after every shoot. Airguns need to be leaded by shooting 500-1000 shots through before the lead starts to tighten up the barrels bore onto the pellet.
If you have leaded your barrel (500-1000 shots) and have started to notice a spread issue, this is when you are most likely going to need to de-lead your barrel with the pull-through and start the leading process again.
