Legends Makarov CO2 4.5mm BB Air Pistol by UMAREX
The Legends Makarov is a CO2-powered replica of the classic Soviet sidearm, keeping things simple, compact, and solidly built. It doesn’t try to modernise the platform, and that’s kind of the point. What you get is a straightforward blowback-style pistol with full metal construction and a more traditional feel.
Key Features
- Full metal construction (frame, slide, and controls)
- Single and double action trigger
- Movable slide for added realism
- Compact, easy-to-handle design
- 18-round BB magazine
- Classic military-style layout
Performance / Use Case
This is very much a no-frills CO2 BB pistol. It’s suited to plinking and general use at shorter distances rather than precision shooting.
The simpler design helps with gas efficiency, and with a claimed shot count of around 100 shots per CO2 capsule, it’s a bit more forgiving than some heavier blowback models.
Accuracy is what you’d expect from a smoothbore BB pistol, fine for casual shooting, but not something you’d pick for tight grouping work.
Build & Design
The all-metal construction gives it a solid, slightly weighty feel without being overly heavy. At 684g, it’s lighter than some full-size replicas but still feels substantial enough in the hand.
Controls follow the original design closely, including the safety lever and overall layout. It’s a more compact platform, which makes it easy to handle, especially if you prefer something smaller than the usual full-size pistols.
