NateChrony Extreme Ballistic Mk2 Free Standing Light Gate Chronograph

£195.00Price

No assembly. No compromises. Just data you can trust.

Building on the hugely successful Extreme Ballistic Mk1, the Mk2 refines an already outstanding chronograph into one of the most capable ballistic analysis tools available to shooters today. It arrives fully assembled, factory tested and ready to use straight out of the box, eliminating the setup required by the previous generation.

Don't be surprised if your new chronograph already contains a short shot string when you first connect it. Every Mk2 is tested and verified by NateChrony before leaving the factory to ensure it meets their exceptionally high accuracy standards.

Designed for shooters who care about genuine data rather than simply reading muzzle velocity, the Extreme Ballistic Mk2 delivers laboratory-grade performance whether you're testing an air rifle, airsoft gun, CO₂ pistol or full-power firearm.

More than a chronograph

The Mk2 doesn't simply measure projectile speed. It continuously monitors environmental conditions using multiple sensors while automatically calibrating itself before use. Its ten-sensor array compensates for changes in temperature and humidity, producing remarkably consistent results regardless of changing conditions.

Working alongside its built-in projectile vector calculations, the Mk2 is currently one of the very few chronographs capable of providing a certainty rating alongside your velocity and energy readings, giving shooters greater confidence in the data they're collecting.

For anyone tuning regulators, testing ammunition, developing loads or simply chasing the lowest possible standard deviation, this is a genuinely useful feature rather than marketing fluff.

Serious ballistic analysis

Using the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, all results are viewed directly through your phone, tablet or computer using a standard web browser. There are no apps to install and no internet connection required.

The software goes far beyond simply displaying velocity.

You can view complete shot strings, graphical velocity plots, calculate standard deviation and extreme spread, export your data for further analysis, or even enable spoken velocity readouts through your connected mobile device.

Pair two compatible NateChrony chronographs together and the system can even calculate ballistic coefficient (BC), making it an incredibly capable tool for serious precision shooters. Technical setup is required, but the capability is there if you want it.

Built for real-world use

Unlike the original Mk1, the Extreme Ballistic Mk2 arrives fully assembled and requires virtually no setup before use.

The integrated 1/4"-20 UNC tripod socket also allows the chronograph to mount directly onto almost any standard camera tripod, making positioning quick and convenient whether you're shooting indoors or on the range.

Like all infrared light gate chronographs, outdoor operation requires the unit to be placed in full shade for correct sensor performance.

Before You Buy

You'll need a smartphone, tablet or PC with Wi-Fi capability and a modern web browser to access the chronograph. A 5V USB power source is also required. We recommend using a quality USB power bank with a minimum capacity of 5,000mAh for portable use such as the ANKER Compact

Like the Mk1, this is a chronograph built for shooters who enjoy understanding exactly what their equipment is doing. If you simply want to know roughly how fast your rifle shoots, there are cheaper options. If you want deep ballistic data with industry-leading accuracy and analysis tools, the Extreme Ballistic Mk2 sits comfortably at the top of the tree.

  •  Why 3D Printing?

3D printing offers several key advantages, making it an excellent choice for creating innovative, functional products:

    • Speed: Products can be produced quickly and efficiently, allowing for rapid prototyping and faster delivery.
    • Lightweight Design: 3D printing uses less material, resulting in lighter components while maintaining functionality.
    • Additive Manufacturing: This method allows for complex features and designs that traditional subtractive manufacturing cannot achieve, enabling more flexibility in product development.

    Important Considerations

While 3D printed parts come with many benefits, they are typically more fragile than their traditionally manufactured counterparts. This means the product requires mechanical sympathy—careful handling and use. These parts are not expected to last as long as non-3D printed components, so it’s important to treat them with care.

    Warranty Information

Warranty on 3D printed products is limited and depends on how well the part is maintained. To extend the life of your product, we recommend:

    • Safe Handling: Avoid excessive force or impact.
    • Protection from Moisture: Keep the product dry to prevent damage.
    • Avoid High Temperatures: Prolonged exposure to heat can weaken the material.
    • Limit UV Exposure: Avoid long periods of direct sunlight, as UV rays can degrade the material.

By following these guidelines, you can prolong the life of your 3D-printed product and enjoy its unique benefits!
