Reximex Morpho CO2 Pistol Carbine Air Gun
The Reximex Morpho is the brand’s first step into CO2 power, and it’s a surprisingly sensible one. Instead of trying to be flashy, it focuses on flexibility and low-cost shooting, with a modular setup that lets you run it as a compact pistol or clip on the stock and turn it into a lightweight carbine. One platform, two personalities. Hence the name, and yes, it actually earns it.
Powered by a single 12g CO2 capsule, the Morpho keeps running costs down and setup simple. No pumps ot dive tanks necessary. It feeds via a side-lever action and supports both multi-shot magazines and a single-shot tray, so you can either plink happily or slow things down and focus on accuracy. Two multi-shot magazines are included, which is always appreciated and far too often skipped at this price point.
Fibre-optic iron sights come fitted as standard and are bright, quick, and perfectly usable for casual shooting. There’s also an under-barrel Picatinny rail for accessories like a torch or laser, plus an interrupted dovetail on top if you decide to add optics. The threaded barrel accepts the included 1/2" UNF silencer, taking the edge off the report and making it far more pleasant for garden or indoor range use.
CO2 does have its quirks. Cold weather and rapid firing will reduce consistency because physics refuses to be negotiated with. That said, the upside is obvious. The entry cost is much lower than a PCP, making the Morpho a solid choice for beginners, casual shooters, or anyone who wants something simple alongside a more serious setup. Compared to its PCP sibling, the Mito, this is very much the easygoing, grab-and-go option.
