Vector Optics Flip-Down Scope / Red-Dot Sight Protector Shield (VWSD-01)

Protect your optic from incoming BBs with the Vector Optics Flip-Down Scope / Red Dot Sight Protector Shield (VWSD-01).
 
Designed primarily for airsoft and paintball, the VWSD-01 provides a replaceable acrylic barrier between your optic and incoming projectiles. Rather than risking damage to an expensive scope or red dot sight, the acrylic shield is designed to take the impact instead.
 
The protector attaches directly to a standard Picatinny / RIS rail using its lightweight aluminium mounting bracket. When protection is not required, the entire shield can be flipped down out of the way, making it quick to deploy when needed and easy to stow when it isn't.
 
The shield provides coverage for optics up to 60 mm above the rail and 50 mm wide, making it suitable for many of the compact scopes, LPVOs and red dot sights commonly used on airsoft replicas.
 
Two interchangeable acrylic shields are included. The clear shield provides straightforward protection without adding colour to the sight picture, while the yellow-tinted shield can provide increased contrast in some lighting conditions.
 
When the shield eventually takes enough abuse to require replacement, the acrylic protector can be changed rather than replacing the entire mounting system.
