DNT Optics Update – Zulus V2 LRF Has Landed!

The long-awaited Zulus V2 LRF variants are finally here — and yes, we’re still running our free battery deal.

Add both the optic and its compatible Battery & Charger Kit to your basket, and the battery is on us. Just remember: the offer only works if you add both items. Forget to do that, and you’ll be sourcing your own batteries.

Zulus V2 – What’s New?

The Zulus V2 is more than just a facelift of the original Mk1 — it’s a complete refinement. Here’s what’s changed:

• Bigger, Brighter Screen: Upgraded from a 0.39" / 300 nit display to a 0.49" / 1800 nit screen for clearer viewing.

• Smoother Zoom Control: Gone is the scroll wheel — the V2 uses a throw lever for precise, fast adjustments.

• Extended Runtime: Now powered by a 21700 battery (not included) for up to 10 hours of use.

• Larger Ocular Lens & Eye Relief: A 65mm eye relief makes viewing more comfortable and reduces eye strain.

• Sharper Image Processing: Proprietary algorithm delivers improved clarity and detail.

• Better Controls & Menu System: Inspired by the ThermNight series for a more intuitive user experience.

• Built-in 32GB Storage: No need for an SD card, and safer data handling during recording or firmware updates.

• Upgraded Wi-Fi Module: Faster, more stable wireless connectivity.

Mk1 Clearance

Still not ready to stretch to the V2? We have a handful of Zulus Mk1 units left at reduced prices. Once they’re gone, they won’t be replaced — but DNT will continue to support them, making them a solid choice for those who don’t need all the V2 upgrades. We are still offering the free compatible barrery offer when you add the DNT and thier compatible batteries to the cart!

Thermal Alternative – DNT HYDRA HS225

We’ve also got the HYDRA HS225 — a multi-function thermal scope/spotter that’s already impressed us in testing. Once the QD Picatinny mount lands, it will even work as a front thermal clip-on. We’ve already tried it with an LPVO, and it works beautifully for fast, adaptable shooting scenarios. As of yet, this amazingly capable Thermal Optic uses the same offset mounts as the Zulus and Thermnight, so you can use it as a stand-alone thermal scope or use it as a hugely capable thermal spotter!
