Hill EVO-310 PCP Airgun & Airsoft HPA Compressor

The EVO-310 is Hill doing what they usually do, building something properly and expecting it to last. This isn’t a lightweight, occasional-use compressor. It’s designed to handle everything from topping up rifles to filling large cylinders from empty, and doing it repeatedly without complaining.

If most compressors feel like a compromise somewhere, this one is more about removing those compromises, assuming you actually need the capability.

Key Features

  • High output up to 20 L/min (FAD)
  • Adjustable pressure range: 50–310 BAR
  • Automatic pressure purge system
  • Oil-free operation with mechanical cooling (no external water needed)
  • Digital pressure display with analogue backup gauge
  • Automatic shut-off system
  • Advanced thermal management with active temperature monitoring
  • Durable shuttle valve design for long-term use
  • Female Foster QD connection
  • Full manufacturer support and serviceability

Performance / Use Case

This sits in a completely different category to most “home use” compressors. It’s capable of filling rifles, buddy bottles, and larger cylinders up to 10 litres, and doing it at a speed that actually makes sense.

At up to 20 L/min, it’s fast enough for proper workload use, whether that’s a busy shooter, a club environment, or even light commercial use like airgun ranges or airsoft HPA setups.

Unlike smaller units that are clearly happiest topping up, this will comfortably handle full fills from empty without needing to plan your day around it.

Build & Design

At 25kg, portability is technically possible, but realistically, this is a fixed setup machine. It’s built around durability and long-term use rather than convenience.

Cooling is handled internally with a mechanical system, so there’s no need for external water cooling setups. The thermal management system actively monitors operating temperatures and will shut the unit down if it goes outside safe limits, either too hot or too cold.

The automatic purge system is a practical addition, reducing moisture and easing strain on the system during operation and cooling cycles.

Controls are a mix of digital precision and analogue backup, which is exactly what you want when dealing with high-pressure air systems.

After Sales / Support

This is where Hill separates itself from a lot of the cheaper options. Full servicing, repair support, and spare parts are readily available, and you’re not left trying to diagnose issues through forum posts.

Service kits are available, and manufacturer support is direct rather than “send it back and hope”.

The EVO-310 is not subtle about what it is. It’s a high-output, workshop-grade compressor built for regular, demanding use.

It’s heavier, more expensive, and more capable than most users actually need. But if you do need something that can handle everything from rifles to large cylinders without struggling, this is one of the few options that does it without compromise.

Notes on Use

For cylinder filling, a proper drying system like the Dry-Pac Pro is strongly recommended to prevent moisture from entering your air system. Hill-specific oils should be used for maintenance to keep everything running as intended.
