Snowpeak Artemis PP700s-a PCP Target Air Pistol
The Snowpeak PP700S-A has earned something of a cult following over the years, and for good reason. While many PCP air pistols chase realism with replica styling and magazines, the PP700 goes in the opposite direction. It is built from the ground up as a precision target pistol, putting accuracy, consistency and simplicity ahead of everything else.
Despite its affordable price tag, the PP700 punches well above its weight. It has become a favourite not only with target shooters but also with the huge aftermarket tuning community, with everything from custom grips and shoulder stocks through to moderator adaptors and performance accessories available. Even left completely standard, it remains one of the most accurate PCP pistols available for the money.
Purpose-Built Single Shot Action: Rather than feeding pellets through a rotary magazine, the PP700 loads directly into the breech using a dedicated single-shot loading block. This removes the possibility of pellets being damaged during feeding, helping deliver exceptional consistency and accuracy shot after shot.
Excellent Accuracy from a Long Barrel: The 270mm, 12-groove rifled barrel gives the PP700 far more barrel length than most air pistols. Combined with its excellent trigger and single-shot loading system, it is perfectly capable of producing impressive groups at distances that surprise many shooters. Around 40 metres is entirely achievable in the right hands.
Consistent PCP Performance: Operating from a 200 BAR air reservoir, the PP700 delivers excellent shot-to-shot consistency. Its valve design is capable of producing very low velocity spreads across a fill, making it ideal for precision target shooting where repeatability matters just as much as outright accuracy.
Optics Ready: Unlike many target pistols, the PP700 gives you options. Adjustable open sights come fitted from the factory, while the integrated 11mm dovetail rail allows the addition of a red dot sight or even a pistol scope. Add one of the popular aftermarket shoulder stocks and it quickly becomes a very capable lightweight carbine.
Huge Aftermarket Support: One of the biggest strengths of the PP700 platform is the enormous aftermarket community built around it. Moderator adaptors, custom grips, shoulder stocks, replacement bolts, charging handles and countless cosmetic upgrades are readily available, allowing owners to tailor the pistol to their own style. Please note that permanent modifications or performance-enhancing upgrades may affect your manufacturer's warranty.

Who is the PP700S-A For?
The PP700S-A is ideal for shooters who care more about precision than realism. It excels at target shooting, garden plinking and informal competition, offering accuracy that embarrasses many more expensive air pistols. It is also one of the best foundations available for those who enjoy modifying and personalising their equipment. If you're looking for a realistic replica, this probably isn't it. If you're looking for one of the best-value PCP target pistols on the market, the PP700S-A has earned its reputation for a reason.
