Snowpeak PR900S Gen 3 Synthetic Regulated PCP Air Rifle Package
£400.38
£295.00
The Snowpeak PR900S Gen 3 is a straightforward, well-judged update to the already popular PR900 platform. It keeps what worked, fixes what didn’t, and avoids trying to reinvent anything just for the sake of marketing. The headline upgrade is the move away from the fiddly CP-style magazine to the more practical Remington-type magazine system. Translation: faster loading, easier handling, and less swearing in the field.
This synthetic Gen 3 version comes finished in a sensible tan rather than the usual black, which is marginally more interesting and a bit more practical outdoors. The rifle remains compact and lightweight, with regulated PCP performance, an integrated 130 cc air cylinder, and a well-shaped synthetic stock that works equally well from a bench or in the field.
Power comes from a 130 cc reservoir filled to a maximum of 250 bar, with Snowpeak recommending storage at or below 200 bar. The integrated regulator keeps shot-to-shot consistency tight, with around 100 shots per fill depending on calibre, power setting, and pellet choice. Operation is via a right-hand manual bolt, paired with a two-stage trigger and manual safety. The removable barrel-mounted silencer keeps things neighbour-friendly, and the 480 mm rifled steel barrel does exactly what it should without drama.
Two multi-shot magazines are included, along with a single-shot loading tray for those occasions where precision matters more than speed. An 11 mm dovetail rail allows straightforward scope mounting, making the PR900S Gen 3 a solid option for pest control, range shooting, and general field use where reliability and ease of use matter more than tactical cosplay.

Scope Options Explained
VictOptics PAC 3-9x40 (OPSL20)
A basic starter scope that gets you shooting up to 20 m. Wire reticle, so expect to re-check zero after transport. Honest, functional, and firmly entry-level.
VictOptics C4 3-12x44 (OPSL29)
Still entry-level, but more forgiving. Adjustable objective helps at varying distances and works better around 30 m. Wire reticle again, so treat it gently.
Vector Optics Hugo 4-16x44 (SCOL-29)
A proper step up. Etched reticle, side parallax, mono-tube construction, and noticeably better durability. A strong choice for learning holdover and pushing out to around 30 m.
Vector Optics Hugo 6-24x50 (SCOL-31)
Same build quality as the 4-16x model, just more magnification. Best suited to rested paper shooting between 20 m and 50 m in good light.
Vector Optics Orion 6-24x50 FFP (SCFF-61)
The serious option. 30 mm mono-tube, zero-stop turret, and First Focal Plane reticle. Holdovers remain consistent at any magnification. If that sounded appealing rather than exhausting, this is the one.

Important Notice for the Purchase and Delivery of Airguns, Pressure Components of Airguns, and Moderators
Effective Compliance with the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (VCRA): Sections 31 and 32
Under the provisions of Sections 31 and 32 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, which were enacted through "The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (Commencement No 3) Order 2007: firearms measures," specific regulations now apply to air weapons, their Pressure-Bearing component parts, and certain accessories.
Key Points to Note:
Restricted Items:
- Airguns: All airguns are classified as restricted items.
- Pressure-Bearing Parts of Airguns: This includes barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
- Functional Moderators (Silencers/Suppressors): Moderators that reduce the sound of discharge are also classified as restricted items.
Definition and Registration:
- Component Parts: While the VCRA does not explicitly define "component parts," the Home Office interprets this to include pressure-bearing parts such as barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
- Accessories: Only moderators (silencers) require registration by dealers.
Legal Requirements for Transfer:
- In-Person Transfer: It is an offence under the VCRA to transfer these restricted items through standard postal systems or to the end customer directly without the presence of both the buyer and either the seller or a representative of the seller.
- Representatives of the Seller: This can be:
- An employee of the seller who is a registered firearms dealer (RFD).
- Another RFD authorized by the seller.
- An employee of the authorized RFD.
Collection and Delivery Options:
- Collection from Store: Customers are encouraged to collect their restricted items directly from the store where purchased.
- Transfer to Another RFD: Items can be transferred to a local RFD for collection, though the receiving RFD may charge a fee for this service.
- Home Delivery: We offer home delivery through our in-house team to some areas of the UK. However, please note that this service has location restrictions and incurs higher costs due to the need for dedicated transport, making it more expensive than a standard RFD transfer.
