Stud Screw Set (Swivel Sling Stud)

Is your gun one of those that doesn't have any mounting options for slugs? or perhaps even one without a lower rail for mounting stud bipods? Well, this may well be the option for you!

1x Machine Screw Stud For Hollow Stocks
2x Front and Back Self Tapping Screws
 
We always recommend using a gunsmith to fit studs where ever possible due to possible interruption or damage coming to pressure vessels if incoreretly fitted
 
Fitting:
Remove action from the stock
Locate a suitable place in stock where the screw will not foul on gun action
For rear mounting options find the place on the stock where there is the most material for the rear screw (longer Self Tapping) to grab
Mark the centre of the stock using a centre punch 
Use a 4mm Pilot drill bit and drill either through or to the same depth of the screw you intend to use - This prevents cracking of the stock when adding the stud
Slowly turn the screw into the hole 1 turn, then unscrew half a turn. Repeat this to prevent a build-up of swarf in the threads.
If the holes do not face out to the sides when screwing down, undo the stud and use the plastic washer to change the direction of the holes
