The Vector Optics Sentinel X-Pro 10-40x50 is built specifically around 25 metre benchrest shooting, with a high magnification range, purpose-designed COM-25M reticle and fine 1/8 MOA adjustment clicks.
 
It isn't pretending to be a premium competition optic costing several times the price. What it does offer is a very usable route into 25m benchrest competition, giving you the magnification and reticle configuration you need to get started without spending a fortune.
 
If you're already competing seriously and want to push optical performance further, we'd recommend looking at the Vector Optics Tauron LR or Tauron Competition range instead. The Sentinel X-Pro is about getting you on the firing line, not pretending you've bought a £2,000 scope for £300.
 
Built for 25m Benchrest
The COM-25M reticle has been designed specifically around 25 metre benchrest shooting, featuring a fine 1.5mm centre dot for precise aiming.
 
The 10-40x magnification range gives you plenty of magnification for detailed target work, while the 50mm objective lens helps provide a bright sight picture at higher magnification.
The 30mm tube provides up to 50 MOA of elevation adjustment, while the 1/8 MOA click value allows for fine adjustment when zeroing and making corrections.
 
Practical Target Shooting Features
The Sentinel X-Pro includes a number of features you'd expect from a dedicated target scope, including side focus from 10 yards to infinity, a zero-stop elevation turret and an illuminated centre dot.
 
The second focal plane reticle remains the same apparent size as magnification changes, making the COM-25M reticle predictable and easy to use throughout the magnification range.
Fully multi-coated optics provide a clear and usable image, while the nitrogen-filled body helps prevent internal fogging.

Which Scope Should You Choose?
The Sentinel X-Pro makes a lot of sense if you're starting out in 25m benchrest, want a dedicated high-magnification target scope or simply don't want to spend premium money on an optic for a specialised discipline.
