So this isn’t exactly a brand-new thing we’re doing, but now it has a name: Buy the Build. This series gives you the parts list you need to recreate a setup you’ve seen elsewhere, or at least get as close as possible. We don’t stock everything under the sun—but we can usually get pretty close.
This one’s a bit of a return to form, as the “prototype” post we did was also on the MITO (though don’t bother looking, it’s long gone). The kit below is based on a rifle built by AAR after he picked up the MITO Nickel and insisted on a walnut stock. We got one sourced, he made a video, and now here’s your shopping list if you want to follow in his footsteps.
If you’re reading this the week it’s posted—great, everything’s in stock. If you’re reading this way in the future, you may need to get creative or substitute parts.

Reximex MITO Nickel Edition PCP Air Pistol/Carbine – we recommend .177 for obvious reasons.

Method
There’s no “bake at 180°C for 30 minutes” here, but here’s the rundown:
Step 1: Remove the rear sight.

This is where you’ll curse, because you’ll either misplace the 1.5mm hex key or end up tapping with a mallet until it pops free. Persevere—it has to come off for the red dot to go on.
Step 2: Prep your optic.

Swap to the dovetail mount if it doesn’t already have one. Loosen the T10 star bolt, line it up, tighten it back down.

Before you mount it, drop in your CR2032 (smooth side up). Seriously—get rechargeables, you will forget to turn it off.
Step 3: Mount the optic.

Reflex sights work best when they’re mounted as far back as possible. Loosen the 2.5mm hex bolt, slide it on, tighten it back down. Firm, not gorilla-tight—you don’t want to crush the dovetail.
Step 4: Fit the moderator.

The MITO uses an adapter (normally supplied). Screw the adapter in, long side first, then thread the silencer on the front.

Don’t over-tighten unless you enjoy future pain trying to get it off.
Optional Step 5: Walnut grip swap.

Should you want to swap it... it's a simple job once you’ve got the right hardware—just don’t drop bolts on the workshop floor unless you fancy crawling around for 20 minutes. A long 3mm and a 2mm key are required to remove the existing screws, and then whatever size you need for the hardware you select.
And that’s it—fill it, zero it, and you’re off.

The Result
What you end up with is AAR’s MITO Nickel build: compact, good-looking, and actually usable with the right accessories straight out the gate.
So there you go—your recipe for the MITO Nickel “Walnut Special.”

When opening hot food corner we needed warming case for grab-and-go items. I found https://mcdonaldpaper.com/marchia-mhs1200-46-inch-open-heated-display-warming-case-grab-and-go. The product page explained dimensions, heating details, and warranty clearly. They also listed discounts and delivery services for heavy units. The case worked well, kept food warm, and lighting was bright. I liked it because it helped serve hot meals quickly without losing freshness.
