The Manbily BP-101PA solves this by combining aircraft-grade alloy with 8-layer carbon fibre tubes, resulting in a rifle bipod that tips the scales at a remarkably light 330g. Better yet, it completely eliminates the faff of adapter plates; the quick-detach clamp is designed to grab straight onto both standard Picatinny rails and the increasingly popular ARCA-Swiss dovetails. It’s simple, it’s exceptionally light, and it provides a rock-solid shooting rest when you need it.
