Sample packs are quite commonly produced by manufacturers, where a single one tries to convince you that at least one of their pellets will work in your gun. However, in the real world, this isn't always true. You see, barrels are like fingerprints; every single one is different. You can have 2 of the exact same guns, with serial numbers next to one another, and they will have different preferences on the type of pellet you use.
So instead of getting hundreds of different types of pellets and spending a few £££ on doing so. The best thing you can do is to get yourself some basic pellets to first lead in your gun and get your optics zeroed, then get yourself a sample pack. Get testing to see what pellet actually works in your gun.
All too often, we see novice shooters not testing pellets and then blaming the gun. You wouldn't fit budget tyres to your car and then blame the car when it's no good in the winter or on a racetrack!

Needing a range of air pellets I ordered these to see what my air rifle prefers. In fact I bought two packs because with my eyes I'll be lucky to hit a barn door. Delivered as promised and packaged well and undamaged.
Surprisingly the samples are of a high consistency in terms of the weight stated on the lids, a few hundredths of a mm in stated diameter but no big deal as I was going to size and weigh them all anyway.
The sample pellets provided are all useable with none damaged.
Great way (and cheaper!) to find out what pellets suit my HW77K.
