Pre-Fired GAMO GX250 .22 PCP Bolt Action Air Rifle
There was a time when you couldn't move for demand for the GAMO GX platform. The market has changed considerably since then, with increasingly tactical PCPs from the Chinese manufacturers taking up plenty of the entry-level space, but the GX250 still has something going for it.
That something is simplicity. A traditional bolt-action PCP with a proper thumbhole stock, rather than trying to turn an entry-level rifle into a miniature battle rifle.
This .22 example is in generally good condition, with the exception of the aftermarket underside Picatinny rail, which has seen some use and has suffered some damage. The fitted VictOptics 3-9x scope is also a fairly basic optic and is missing its scope caps.
The rifle has been tested at approximately 15 Joules.

The Important Bit
The underside rail has seen better days. It is an aftermarket addition and shows both use and some damage, so don't expect it to look like it has just come out of the box.
The included scope is also very much a basic optic. It does the job of completing the package, but it is not exactly the sort of glass we'd be shouting about from the rooftops, and the scope caps are missing.
One other thing worth considering is the bolt action. If you struggle with dexterity or hand strength, a side-lever PCP may be a better option. The bolt isn't particularly complicated, but it does require a different sort of operation to the increasingly common side-lever designs.
We've tested the rifle at approximately 15 Joules, but this is a Pre-Fired item and our inspection is not a warranty. The condition grade reflects the rifle and accessories as they stand.

Final Word
The GX250 isn't trying to be tactical, futuristic or covered in rails. It's a traditional .22 PCP with a bolt action, thumbhole stock and a straightforward approach to shooting.
The platform may not command quite the same attention it once did, but for someone who prefers a more conventional-looking PCP, that's arguably part of the appeal.
This one comes as a complete package with scope, silencer, magazines, fill probe and gun bag. It has some wear and the aftermarket rail has definitely had a life, but at Pre-Fired money, that may be exactly what makes it interesting.
