The KRAL Arms Puncher K Walnut is an entry-level wood-stocked PCP air rifle that brings a few features to the table normally found on more expensive rifles.

The side lever gives easy, quick cocking, while the Picatinny optics rail makes mounting a scope straightforward. This .22 example has been tested at approximately 15 Joules and is in good overall condition, although there are some marks from previous use.

It also comes with a Webley QGS8 silencer and two multi-shot magazines.

The Important Bit

There is a potential issue worth being aware of with this particular setup.

The .22 version uses a shrouded barrel, and when combined with a large silencer such as the supplied Webley QGS8, there is a possibility of pellet clipping. Depending on the individual rifle and setup, the shroud may need to be removed and the silencer fitted directly to the barrel to achieve the best results.

In other words, don't just screw everything together and assume it will automatically be perfect. Alignment matters.

This is a Pre-Fired rifle, so it has had a previous life. We've checked it and recorded approximately 15 Joules, but our inspection is not a warranty. Minor marks and signs of previous use should be expected.

It is sold as a Pre-Fired item and without warranty.

Final Word

The Puncher K Walnut is a good example of how entry-level PCPs have started borrowing features from much more expensive rifles. Side-lever cocking, a Picatinny rail, a proper multi-shot system and a wooden stock give you plenty of rifle for the money.

Just be aware of the silencer/shroud combination on this particular .22. It may need a little fettling to get the muzzle setup right, but that's part of the reason this one is wearing a Pre-Fired price tag.
