Before You Buy
A PCP hand pump is excellent for occasional shooting, topping up cylinders or for shooters who don't have access to a compressor. However, filling a PCP from empty requires genuine physical effort, particularly as pressures climb beyond 150 BAR. For this reason, hand pumps are generally not recommended for elderly users, those with limited mobility, lightweight individuals or anyone who may struggle with sustained physical exertion. If you regularly shoot high-volume sessions or own rifles with large air cylinders, a compressor or charging bottle is likely to be the more practical long-term solution.
