Vector Optics 28-30mm Scope / Red Dot Sight Protector Shield
The Vector Optics 28-30mm Scope / Red Dot Sight Protector Shield (SCOT-59II) is a simple, lightweight way of adding a little extra protection to compatible optics.
Designed to fit objective lenses with an outer diameter between 28 mm and 30 mm, the protector uses a lightweight 6063-T6 aluminium sleeve with an acrylic protective lens. At just 4.5 g, it adds virtually no weight to the setup and can be fitted or removed quickly when required.
The acrylic lens sits in front of the optic to help protect the objective from dust, debris and accidental knocks. It is particularly useful for airsoft and other applications where optics can be exposed to BB impacts or general abuse.
The compact 8 mm profile means it does not add much length to the front of the optic, while the aluminium sleeve provides a neat and secure housing for the protective lens.
