The APOLLO Spinner Target Trap and Target Holder is a no drama backyard target that gives you a bit of movement without pretending to be some elite training system. You get 2 rocker paddles that spin when hit, provided your rifle is putting out roughly 10 J at the muzzle. If you’d rather shoot something static, you can ditch the spinners and run a 14 cm paper target instead. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated, just a straightforward way to make plinking a bit more interesting.

It’s built to be used on the ground, although you can secure it if you want it raised off the floor and don’t fancy watching it tip over. The rating is honest: 14 J at 25 m is the intended use. Yes, you can hit it harder or from closer, and yes, it will eventually show it. The spinners are 1.5 mm steel and the box is 1 mm, which puts it squarely in the “backyard fun, not industrial hardware” category.
