FX DRS Mk2 Compact "RedLine" Laminate PCP Air Rifle

Out of Stock

The FX DRS Mk2 Compact RedLine takes the proven DRS platform and wraps it in one of the most striking stock options FX has ever offered. Built around a grey laminate stock with a bold red centre line running through its length, the Red Line delivers all the performance of the DRS Mk2 while making a statement every time it leaves the gun cabinet.

Underneath the eye-catching stock sits the same innovative Air Pressure Barrel system that defines the DRS range. By surrounding the barrel with the air cylinder, FX achieves an incredibly slim profile that feels more like a traditional sporting rifle than a modern PCP. The design not only improves handling but also contributes to excellent barrel rigidity and balance.

The Mk2 introduces a smoother side lever action, an updated interchangeable liner system that allows liner swaps without degassing the rifle, and perhaps most importantly, a factory-fitted 30 MOA Picatinny rail. Long-range shooters will appreciate the additional elevation adjustment available straight out of the box, while the Picatinny platform makes scope mounting considerably easier than previous DRS generations.

This Compact model uses the same barrel length as the original DRS Standard, making it the natural successor for shooters already familiar with that platform. The combination of a longer barrel and larger air reservoir provides excellent efficiency while retaining the lightweight handling characteristics that have made the DRS range so popular.

The RedLine stock is unapologetically aimed at shooters who enjoy something a little different. It retains all the strength and stability benefits of laminate construction while offering a distinctive appearance that stands out from more traditional walnut or synthetic options.

Effective Compliance with the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (VCRA): Sections 31 and 32

Under the provisions of Sections 31 and 32 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, which were enacted through "The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (Commencement No 3) Order 2007: firearms measures," specific regulations now apply to air weapons, their Pressure-Bearing component parts, and certain accessories.

    Key Points to Note:

    Restricted Items:

    • Airguns: All airguns are classified as restricted items.
    • Pressure-Bearing Parts of Airguns: This includes barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
    • Functional Moderators (Silencers/Suppressors): Moderators that reduce the sound of discharge are also classified as restricted items.

    Definition and Registration:

    • Component Parts: While the VCRA does not explicitly define "component parts," the Home Office interprets this to include pressure-bearing parts such as barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
    • Accessories: Only moderators (silencers) require registration by dealers.

    Legal Requirements for Transfer:

    • In-Person Transfer: It is an offence under the VCRA to transfer these restricted items through standard postal systems or to the end customer directly without the presence of both the buyer and either the seller or a representative of the seller.
    • Representatives of the Seller: This can be:
    1. An employee of the seller who is a registered firearms dealer (RFD).
    2. Another RFD authorized by the seller.
    3. An employee of the authorized RFD.

    Collection and Delivery Options:

    • Collection from Store: Customers are encouraged to collect their restricted items directly from the store where purchased.
    • Transfer to Another RFD: Items can be transferred to a local RFD for collection, though the receiving RFD may charge a fee for this service.
    • Home Delivery: We offer home delivery through our in-house team to some areas of the UK. However, please note that this service has location restrictions and incurs higher costs due to the need for dedicated transport, making it more expensive than a standard RFD transfer.

  • Hey there, shooter! So, you're eyeing our collection of wooden/ laminate gun stocks, huh? Well, before you lock and load, let's lay down some ground rules.

These gun stocks are crafted from natural materials like various wood species and laminate wood. Each piece is a unique creation, like a fingerprint. While we try our best to capture their essence in our pictures, there's a chance the real deal might differ slightly in colour, style, or design. Nature's quirky like that.

Now, if you're the kind who prefers their ducks in a row, synthetic stocks might be more your speed. But if you're ready to embrace the unpredictable beauty of Mother Nature, then welcome aboard!

If you receive your gun stock and it's not quite what you had in mind, you can send it back. But here's the kicker: you'll foot the bill for the return shipping, and we'll only refund you for the product itself. Sorry, but paid shipping costs are like stubborn knots – they ain't budgin'!

And hey, while we're on the topic, if your stock has been damaged or altered (we'll know, trust us), you won't be getting a full refund. We're all about fair play here.

So, before you pull the trigger on your purchase, remember: each stock is a one-of-a-kind creation, a testament to nature's artistry. We're just here to provide the canvas for your shooting masterpiece! Happy shooting!
