Snowpeak AP900 Tactical Regulated PCP Air Rifle Package
£485.38
£395.00
Snowpeak have a habit of squeezing far more performance into a rifle than the price tag suggests, and the AP900 is a very good example of that habit getting a bit out of hand. This is the lightweight, tactical end of their PCP range, aimed squarely at shooters who want something compact, fast to deploy, and easy to live with in the field.
Think mountain shooting. Lots of walking. Odd shooting positions. Improvised rests on rocks, rucksacks, knees, or whatever happens to be nearby. The AP900 is built for exactly that sort of work, where carrying less matters just as much as shooting well.
At under 2.0kg, with a folding synthetic stock and a regulated 118cc air cylinder, the AP900 keeps things light without feeling flimsy. The integrated regulator gives consistent pressure shot to shot, which means predictable accuracy and easier follow-up shots. The right-side lever is quick and positive, and the Mammoth / M-series magazine system is reliable without being fiddly or annoying.
Fold the stock and you are down to roughly 600mm overall length, which makes it easy to throw in a pack or carry across rough ground without constantly snagging on things. Despite the compact size, you still get a proper upper Picatinny rail for optics and a forend that accepts M-LOK compatible accessories, so you can configure it sensibly rather than pretending you do not want accessories at all.
The 310mm barrel and integrated silencer keep the rifle short and manoeuvrable. It is not built to win benchrest competitions, but that is not the point. This is about moving further, deploying faster, and staying accurate enough to matter while doing it.
Snowpeak have kept things practical. Manual safety on the trigger. Adjustable 2-stage trigger that does not fight you. A pressure gauge so you actually know what air you have left. The silencer is removable if you want to change things up. It is not a boutique rifle, but it is honest, capable, and very hard to dislike if you value mobility.

Scope Options Explained
VictOptics PAC 3-9x40 (OPSL20)
A basic starter scope that gets you shooting up to 20m. Wire reticle, so expect to re-check zero after transport. Honest, functional, and very much entry-level.
VictOptics C4 3-12x44 (OPSL29)
Still entry-level but more forgiving. Adjustable objective helps with focusing at different distances and is more usable around 30m. Wire reticle applies here too, so handle with care.
Vector Optics Hugo 4-16x44 (SCOL-29)
A proper step up. Etched reticle, side parallax, mono-tube construction, and far better durability. A strong choice for learning holdover and stretching distances up to 30m.
Vector Optics Hugo 6-24x50 (SCOL-31)
Same build quality as the 4-16x version but with higher magnification. Best suited to rested paper shooting between 20m and 50m in daylight.
Vector Optics Orion 6-24x50 FFP (SCFF-61)
The serious option. 30mm mono-tube, zero-stop turret, and First Focal Plane reticle. Holdovers stay consistent at any magnification, which makes life much easier. If that explanation made you sigh, just pick this one.

Important Notice for the Purchase and Delivery of Airguns, Pressure Components of Airguns, and Moderators
Effective Compliance with the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (VCRA): Sections 31 and 32
Under the provisions of Sections 31 and 32 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, which were enacted through "The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (Commencement No 3) Order 2007: firearms measures," specific regulations now apply to air weapons, their Pressure-Bearing component parts, and certain accessories.
Key Points to Note:
Restricted Items:
- Airguns: All airguns are classified as restricted items.
- Pressure-Bearing Parts of Airguns: This includes barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
- Functional Moderators (Silencers/Suppressors): Moderators that reduce the sound of discharge are also classified as restricted items.
Definition and Registration:
- Component Parts: While the VCRA does not explicitly define "component parts," the Home Office interprets this to include pressure-bearing parts such as barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
- Accessories: Only moderators (silencers) require registration by dealers.
Legal Requirements for Transfer:
- In-Person Transfer: It is an offence under the VCRA to transfer these restricted items through standard postal systems or to the end customer directly without the presence of both the buyer and either the seller or a representative of the seller.
- Representatives of the Seller: This can be:
- An employee of the seller who is a registered firearms dealer (RFD).
- Another RFD authorized by the seller.
- An employee of the authorized RFD.
Collection and Delivery Options:
- Collection from Store: Customers are encouraged to collect their restricted items directly from the store where purchased.
- Transfer to Another RFD: Items can be transferred to a local RFD for collection, though the receiving RFD may charge a fee for this service.
- Home Delivery: We offer home delivery through our in-house team to some areas of the UK. However, please note that this service has location restrictions and incurs higher costs due to the need for dedicated transport, making it more expensive than a standard RFD transfer.
