The H&N Slug HP is a airgun pellet which differs significantly from the usual pellets due to its bullet shape. It‘s designed for powerful rifles which can shoot such projectiles precisely at targets at 50, 100 or even 200 meters distance. An extremely favourable ballistic coefficient (BC) ensures a flat trajectory and excellent energy retention. To accommodate different power levels, we offer 3 options in weight.
- 10gr – 400 slugs – 0.080 BC
- 13gr – 350 slugs – 0.084 BC
- 16gr – 300 slugs – 0.089 BC
- 20gr – 250 slugs – 0.094 BC
Minimum muzzle energy should be 18 Joules, but H&N recommend a muzzle energy of 40 – 60 Joules for good results. Barrels with a shorter twist rate and specifically made for Slugs produce significantly better results. All pellets get visually inspected, hand-packed and secured for transport with pads made of foam.
