Helle Futura Drop Point Fixed Knife (H3LS)

The Helle Futura originally launched in 2002 and quickly became a popular model thanks to its clean lines, practical drop point blade and distinctly Scandinavian styling. Now returning to the Helle lineup, it remains a straightforward outdoor knife designed to work rather than merely look pretty in a display cabinet.
 
The Futura was designed by Herman Wolf, a German Helle enthusiast who wanted to create a modern Scandinavian utility knife suitable for both camping and hunting.
 
Practical Drop Point Design
The 105mm drop point blade is made from Helle's H3LS triple-laminated stainless steel and uses a traditional Scandi grind.
 
The drop point profile provides a useful balance between cutting performance and control, making the Futura a versatile choice for general outdoor tasks.
 
A pronounced finger groove helps provide a secure grip and gives the handle its distinctive appearance.
 
Curly Birch Handle
The handle combines curly birch, leather and steel plates, giving the Futura a traditional Scandinavian appearance while providing a comfortable grip.
 
The natural curly birch also means that each knife will have its own individual grain and character.
The knife comes supplied with a genuine brown leather sheath. Its snap-button closure wraps around the handle, keeping the knife securely in place while leaving much of the attractive curly birch handle visible.
