Helle GT Drop Point Knife (H3LS)
A Scandinavian classic that has been around since 1997 for a reason.
The Helle GT is a long-standing favourite in the Helle range, combining traditional Scandinavian knife design with a practical, comfortable shape that works well across a wide range of outdoor uses.
Originally designed by Gunnar Lothe, the GT takes its name from the German Globetrotter company, whose input helped develop the design during a visit to the Helle factory.
The handle uses a classic barrel shape that suits a wide range of hand sizes and provides plenty of grip for larger hands. An aluminium finger guard adds protection between the hand and the blade, while the traditional Scandinavian styling keeps the knife looking distinctly Helle.
Triple-Laminated Stainless Steel Blade
The GT uses Helle's triple-laminated stainless steel, with a 3.2mm thick blade and a classic Scandi grind.
The blade is hand polished and supplied exceptionally sharp from the factory, with the traditional Scandi grind providing a practical cutting geometry for general outdoor and bushcraft use.
The stick tang construction keeps the knife relatively lightweight while maintaining the traditional construction associated with Helle's Scandinavian knives.
Traditional Materials
The handle combines curly birch, leather and aluminium, giving the GT its characteristic Scandinavian appearance.
A genuine leather sheath is included, using a snap closure to keep the knife securely stored when not in use.
