Classic Helle Design
The handle is crafted from a single piece of selected curly birch, carefully sanded and polished to a smooth satin finish. The natural grain gives each knife its own appearance, while the rounded profile provides a comfortable grip across a range of hand sizes.
 
A well-proportioned finger guard sits between the handle and blade, providing additional protection during use without making the knife feel cumbersome.
 
The Eggen is supplied with a genuine leather sheath featuring a belt loop for convenient and secure carry.
 
Triple Laminated Helle Steel
The blade uses Helle's triple-laminated stainless steel, combining a traditional Scandinavian construction with the corrosion resistance expected from a modern stainless outdoor knife.
 
At 101 mm long and 3.1 mm thick, the blade provides a useful balance between cutting ability and strength. The slight drop-point profile gives the blade a practical shape for general-purpose outdoor work, while the traditional Scandi grind makes it well suited to woodwork, food preparation and everyday camp tasks.
