Pre-Fired Weihrauch HW77 .22 Underlever Air Rifle w/ Vintage Weihrauch Bag
We get a fair number of Weihrauch HW77s through our doors, and we've certainly had examples arrive in considerably better condition than this one. What we haven't seen very often, however, is a matching set of vintage Weihrauch accessories like this.
The rifle itself is a 1986 model, making this a proper old-school HW77. It's been used; it's accumulated a fair bit of dust along the way and, to put it politely, it smells like it remembers a different decade.
There is some corrosion to the metalwork, although surprisingly little considering its age. The rifle is accompanied by a classic Tasco 3-9x50 scope and, more importantly, a vintage Weihrauch canvas and leather sling and matching vintage Weihrauch canvas and leather gun bag.
For us, those accessories are a big part of the appeal.

The Important Bit
This is an old rifle, and it looks and feels like one.
There is some corrosion on the metalwork and plenty of evidence that this HW77 has spent a good portion of its life being used rather than carefully preserved. The condition is therefore Grade D, and we're not going to polish the description until it sounds like a museum piece.
The real attraction here is the complete vintage package. The Weihrauch canvas/leather bag and matching sling are particularly difficult to find as a set, and they're arguably worth the attention of anyone interested in older Weihrauch rifles and their original accessories.
As with all Pre-Fired rifles, the condition grade is our assessment of the rifle as it stands. It has had a previous life and is sold without warranty.
Final Word
A 1986 HW77 is already a piece of Weihrauch history. This one has the scars, dust and general patina to prove that it has actually lived that history.
But then there's the vintage Weihrauch bag and sling.
We've had plenty of HW77s through the doors. We've had better HW77s through the doors. We've not had many with a matching vintage Weihrauch accessory set like this.
If you're after something immaculate, keep scrolling. If you're after an old-school HW77 with a bit of character and a genuinely interesting collection of period accessories, this one is rather more difficult to ignore.
