Built for hunters. Refined for precision.

The Orion MAX 3-18x50 sits comfortably in the sweet spot between an all-round hunting scope and a capable long-range optic. Offering a versatile magnification range, premium LaREE HD glass and practical hunting-focused turret controls, it's designed for shooters who want excellent optical performance without stepping into oversized competition scopes.

At the heart of the Orion MAX is Vector Optics' LaREE HD lens system, producing noticeably brighter images, improved colour fidelity and impressive edge-to-edge sharpness. Combined with the generous 50mm objective lens, it performs particularly well during the low-light conditions that hunters often find themselves shooting in.

The second focal plane VOR-5 MOA reticle keeps the aiming picture clean and consistent throughout the magnification range, while the integrated Zero Stop elevation turret makes it easy to dial for distance and return instantly to your original zero.

Highlights

LaREE HD glass delivers bright, high-contrast images with excellent edge-to-edge clarity and impressive low-light performance.

VOR-5 MOA second focal plane reticle features a precise 0.3 MOA floating centre dot with 2.5 MOA hash marks for accurate holdovers without cluttering the sight picture.

Zero Stop elevation turret allows confident dialling for longer shots while providing a fast return to your established zero.

30mm main tube offers up to 100 MOA of elevation adjustment, making the scope equally capable for hunting, target shooting and longer-range air rifle use.

3-18x magnification range provides genuine versatility, from close woodland shots through to precision shooting at extended distances.

Who is the Orion MAX 3-18x50 for?

The Orion MAX 3-18x50 is ideal for shooters wanting a scope that comfortably bridges hunting and precision target shooting. The lower magnification remains practical for woodland stalking and pest control, while 18x provides enough detail for longer-range work with PCP air rifles and rimfires. Add the premium glass, Zero Stop turret and generous adjustment range, and you've got a scope that feels equally at home on a hunting rifle as it does on a dedicated range setup.
