VictOptics SRD SOM Reflex Sight with Flip-to-Side 3x Magnifier Combo

The VictOptics SRD SOM combo pairs the RDSL41 reflex sight with the VIMF-01 3x flip-to-side magnifier, giving you a compact red dot setup with the option of adding magnification when you need it.
It is particularly well suited to tactical airguns and AR-style airsoft rifles, where the extra magnification can be useful for longer shots without permanently committing to a magnified optic.
 
VictOptics SRD Reflex Sight (RDSL41)
The RDSL41 is a compact open reflex sight with a large 30mm viewing window and a 3 MOA red dot.
The large window gives a forgiving sight picture, making it easier to pick up the dot quickly while keeping plenty of the surrounding target area visible. The 3 MOA dot is small enough for more precise aiming without becoming difficult to find during fast target acquisition.
 
With a 49mm centre height, the supplied setup is aimed at the sort of heads-up shooting position commonly used with AR-style platforms.
 
The sight offers seven daytime brightness settings plus two lower-light settings, allowing the dot to be adjusted for different lighting conditions. A motion sensor automatically shuts the illumination down after three minutes of inactivity to help conserve the CR2032 battery.
 
The RDSL41 uses a RUM footprint with compatibility for T-1/T-2 style mounting systems, making it suitable for a wide range of compatible mounting arrangements.

VictOptics SOM 3x Flip-to-Side Magnifier (VIMF-01)
The VIMF-01 adds 3x magnification behind the reflex sight and uses a one-piece body with an integrated flip-to-side Picatinny mount.
 
When magnification is not required, the entire magnifier can be moved to the side rather than having to remove it from the rifle. Flip it back into position when you want the additional magnification.
 
The dual-prism optical system and fully multi-coated lenses are designed to provide a bright, sharp sight picture in a compact package. At just 73mm long, the magnifier doesn't add the bulk of a conventional fixed magnified optic.
 
The standard centre height is 40mm, with an optional 10mm riser available to bring the setup up to a maximum of 50mm. This is worth considering when matching the magnifier's optical centre to the height of your chosen red dot.
 
The VIMF-01 provides approximately 75mm of eye relief, which is generous for a compact magnifier but also means its position on the rifle is important.

Important Fitment Information
The combination of the RDSL41 and VIMF-01 needs at least 95mm of usable Picatinny rail space for the two units to be mounted together.
 
The magnifier has approximately 75mm of eye relief, so the rifle also needs to allow the magnifier to sit in a position where you can achieve a comfortable sight picture from your normal shooting position.
 
As a general guide, this combination works well on tactical airguns and AR-style airsoft rifles where the rear of the available optic rail is approximately 100mm or less from your cheek position.
 
This isn't a case of simply sticking the two optics anywhere on the rail and hoping for the best. Measure first, particularly on compact bullpup or unusual stock configurations.
