APOLLO Electric Automatic Moving Target Shooting Gallery with Variable Speed

£75.00Price
Quantity

Static targets are all well and good, but eventually you need something that moves.

The APOLLO Electric Moving Target Gallery adds a moving target to your shooting sessions, giving you a simple way to practise tracking, reaction time and follow-up shots rather than just sitting in one position and punching holes in the same bit of card.

The target travels along a 480mm track at variable speeds, allowing you to increase the challenge as you get more comfortable with it. It is suitable for airsoft and airguns under 7 Joules, making it a practical addition to low-power shooting setups where a moving target adds a bit more interest.

It is also completely self-contained, running from six AA batteries, so there is no need to run a power cable out to the target.

Variable Speed Moving Target

The electric drive moves the 40mm target along the 480mm track, with adjustable speed settings allowing you to control the difficulty.

Start slowly while getting used to the movement, then increase the speed when you fancy making life a little more difficult.

It is a particularly useful way of practising:

  • Target tracking
  • Reaction speed
  • Follow-up shots
  • Shooting at moving targets
  • Maintaining aim while the target changes position

Steel Catch Box

The main catch box is constructed from 1.3mm thick steel, providing a substantial housing for the moving target and helping contain the impacts generated during normal use.

The target itself is 40mm in diameter and 2.5mm thick, providing a relatively small target area that makes the moving target considerably more challenging than a large static target.

The entire unit has a matt black finish and weighs approximately 6.7kg, giving it enough weight to remain stable during use while still being practical to move around.

Easy to Mount

Keyhole mounting points are provided on both the top and rear of the unit, giving you options for securing the target to a suitable surface or structure.

The compact footprint also means it doesn't require a huge amount of space at the shooting end of the range.

A Note About Use and Longevity

Like any mechanical shooting target, the APOLLO Moving Target Gallery has a finite service life, particularly when used regularly or at higher impact energies.

The moving mechanism, motor and wiring are positioned within the unit, so aiming generally towards the centre of the unit is recommended rather than deliberately shooting towards the right-hand side of the housing, where components associated with the moving mechanism are located.

Airguns above the recommended 7 Joule level may be used, but doing so will reduce the working life of the target.

The target is designed to be shot at, obviously. That's rather the point. However, direct impacts to the motor, wiring or other mechanical components can cause damage. Once the product has been shot, damage caused by an impact is not covered under warranty.

Put another way, if you manage to hit the wiring on your first shot, you're either very skilled or spectacularly unlucky. Either way, the wiring probably won't be impressed.
