BISLEY Air Pump V6 - 300Bar 4-Stage PCP Pump with Dry Pack

SKU BAPV6
Price

£100.00

The Bisley Air Pump Pro V6 builds on the standard Air Pump Pro by adding a few practical upgrades aimed at improving durability and air quality during filling. It remains an affordable manual charging option for PCP shooters, but it introduces a dry-pack filtration system and upgraded internal components to make regular pumping a little more practical for long-term use.

Constructed with stainless-steel tubing and copper pistons, the V6 is designed to handle the repeated stress of high-pressure pumping while maintaining smooth operation. The metallic finish and reinforced construction give it a slightly more robust feel than the base model, while still keeping the pump accessible in terms of price.

This pump is capable of reaching 300 bar / 4500 psi, making it suitable for modern PCP rifles that operate at higher fill pressures.

Integrated Dry Pack Filtration

One of the main upgrades on the Pro V6 is the integrated molecular sieve dry pack. This external filtration unit helps remove moisture from the air during pumping before it enters the rifle’s cylinder.

Moisture management is particularly important for steel air cylinders, where trapped moisture can lead to internal corrosion over time. By helping to reduce the amount of moisture entering the air system, the drying pack can contribute to the long-term health of PCP airguns, regardless of whether they use steel or aluminium cylinders.

The drying medium inside the unit can be replaced or recharged, allowing the filter system to continue functioning effectively over time.

Why a 4-Stage Pump Helps With High-Pressure PCPs

Like the standard Pro model, the V6 uses a 4-stage compression system. This divides the pumping process into multiple compression stages, making it easier to achieve higher pressures.

For rifles with 250–300 bar fill pressures, this design helps by:

  • Reducing the effort required in the final stages of filling

  • Making higher pressures more achievable with manual pumping

  • Improving overall pumping efficiency compared with simpler pump designs

While reaching maximum pressure will always take effort, the multi-stage system makes the process far more manageable.

Practical PCP Compatibility

The V6 comes ready for modern PCP setups. A 56cm high-pressure hose is fitted with a Foster quick-disconnect connector, which is widely used on many current PCP rifles.

A male Foster adapter is also included, allowing rifles that use traditional 1/8" BSP fill probes to be connected easily via the quick-disconnect system.

An integrated pressure gauge displays readings in PSI or MPa, allowing you to monitor fill pressure during use.

A Sensible Mid-Level Hand Pump

While the Pro V6 adds useful upgrades over the standard pump, it still sits firmly in the affordable end of the PCP pump market. Premium pumps such as those from Hill still offer higher levels of refinement and serviceability, but the Bisley V6 provides a capable manual filling solution with the added benefit of air drying.

For shooters who want the advantages of a drying system without stepping into the higher price bracket, the V6 is a practical middle ground.
