    Great Fun!

Cannae beat it, smiles per minute are priceless!

The game is on! with my daughter, as we already have the 'Red Rider' (another great purchase from VA!) Now we have wee comps and challenges with each rifle,

The rifle works really well and is built well for its intended use, at the price point you can't beat it!, even if you only get the rifle.

Glad I got the Marlin second time around, they flew out the door..

Well worth it for fun and memories.

    Once again thank you VA

    A1 service and response!

    Hi Brian,

I'm glad you're enjoying it! These really are a great option for shooters in Scotland like yourself—where anything more powerful would require a licence. The Marlin makes for a brilliant backyard plinker without all the red tape, and it's even better when it brings the whole family into the fun.

Marvellous Marlin Lever Action BB Rifle

What a fantastic back garden plinker of tin cans. When I first got the rifle it was shooting all over the show, I checked the quality of the old BBs I was shooting and realised they were fit for the dustbin. Some new Umarex BBs and after clearing out the barrel with 20 or so shots (dripping oil from the muzzle) the accuracy is definitely up to par. I have a 15 yard range and can easily hit all shots into a 4 inch splatter target. Any tin cans at that range are goners. I can recommend this rifle.

    Hi Gareth,

Love the write-up — proper backyard plinking joy right there. Sounds like you nailed the fix: cheap BBs and a bit of bore TLC will throw everything back into line. Tip for anyone reading: regular gentle breaks‑in and using decent BBs makes a world of difference (and a quick bore clean — none of that elbow‑grease panic — goes a long way).

Good luck with the tin‑can cull — and remember, recycle those poor little victims afterwards!
